Rachel Langston graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in 1989 and The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland in 1993. She holds bachelor's degrees in English and Psychology and a master's degree in Educational Technology.
Between 1989 and 2000, she was employed by Mountain Brook City Schools as an English teacher and Technology Coordinator. In November, 2000, she left her career in education to become a stay-at-home mother. After discovering that she wanted to be a writer "when she grew up", she began RPL Communications, a freelance business, in 2006.
Rachel, a resident of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, is married with 2 children. Her hobbies: include reading, sports, bible study and volunteering. She loves watching the Atlanta Braves during baseball season and the Alabama Crimson Tide during football season. She is a member of Dawson Baptist Church and The Children's Literacy Guild of Alabama.
